Slice out Hunger- $1 Pizza- May 27th-NYC

A little off topic from my usual blogrants (which involve either myself, or Baltimore) but this was too good not to mention.

My good pal Scott, of Scott's Pizza Tours will be hosting the annual
Slice Out Hunger event at GAP Adventures in Greenwich Village (NY) TOMORROW night. Slice Out Hunger is basically a big party at which you can buy $1 slices of pizza from a number of NY's finest Pizzerias (none of the cheap stuff, crappy stuff, or chain stuff-only the good stuff- from places like Lombardi's) to benefit City Harvest - New York's leading food rescue organization. You can also get $1 sodas, raffle tickets and pizza related goodies, and there will be a gallery style show of pizza boxes that Scott has been collecting from countries around the world.
Be there or be missing out completely (as you are if you haven't taken one of these tours. I'm undoubtedly a bit biased, since I print the tshirts for the tours, and think my friends are all the best at everything - but you can't argue with Yelp & Trip Advisor - who have both given him smashing reviews)
