New Painting, Old Peppers

So, say your jalapeno peppers - which back in the dog days of summer were most certainly a pleasant shade of jalapeno green - suddenly started lookin' like this while you were neglecting the garden. "Is this their way of costuming up for halloween?" you might ask. "Are they trying to turn christmas colors so they can come to HOLIDAY HEAP 2008?" Here's MY question: Would you still eat them ?(the ones that are not mushy like bean cakes, I mean) hmmm. While you ponder that thought, here's a look at the new painting I finished this weekend:

tentatively called "The Uniform" but I'm not sure it does it justice... thoughts? concerns? pepper advice? better title? Just want to wish my true love a HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!?

I would eat them! Their level of hotness may be different to the green ones though.

Eat them, yum! It's like how red bell peppers are just grown up green bell peppers. The taste will be different, but they are totally still good. Maybe even better. Being able to grow peppers and getting more than half a crop of tomatoes is one of the things I miss about not living in the Pacific Northwest. And your painting is awesome. And happy birthday, Phil!!
