Dandelion Blu
The Candy Thief
Recap# 2- Another great thing about Renegade this weekend (I seem to be feeling more positive than many of my fellow vendors... looking around at blogs this morning, it sounds like lots of people unfortunately left bitter. Darn you mother nature) was the meeting and re-uniting of the businesses surrounding us for two days straight. Sherri of Dandelion Blu makes outrageously beautiful fired enamel jewelry. I have yet to own one of her necklaces, but She allowed me to model this beautiful enameled pendant all day on Sunday & I didn't want to give it back. She was also kind enough to let us bungee our tent to hers, and as a result, neither of us blew away. We also officially met Casey (aka The Candy Thief) who was in from Glenn's Falls, NY and as usual, I was in love with all of her felted headbands. She will be at Pile of Craft this weekend and I fear leaving my booth because I'll spend money at hers. Behind us, but very much noticed and gawked at by us, was a Phil-Favorite: Vaya Bags. Tianna makes custom bike messenger bags out of vinyl and is one of the better craftspeople we've discovered from these shows. Phil uses his red, gray and black bag to ride to work most days and it barely shows any wear/tear. So sturdy, and sharp looking at that! She also makes belts, small pouches, wallets & more... and I'm happy to hear we'll be seeing her at a few craft fairs coming up as well!
