Mozart's THE MAGIC FLUTE at TOWSON UNIVERSITY!
The Towson University Orchestra and Music for the Stage will perform The Magic Flute, an opera by Mozart, in German with English subtitles this weekend with very special scenery! My husband Phil teaches in the Electronic Media & Film department, and has gathered a group of student animators to help him create a three-screen, projected animation as the backdrop for the opera. (See his three headed serpent above, for just a taste of the show).
From what I've seen - it looks really beautiful, and I can't wait to go to opening night, this Friday. Hope to see you there!
