'Tude Krew - A hand sewn line by Natalie Ebaugh
I can't think of anything more fitting to use as the content of Red Prairie Press' 1000th blog post.
I had a great night on Saturday as Phil and I got to attend our first ever MICA fashion show. Our old intern, the very talented and wonderful Natalie Ebaugh debuted her senior thesis line "Tude Krew" at Milquetoast along with a dozen or so other designers. Natalie's line is super fun and colorful and it was a riot to see how she chose to display it (a video backdrop with excited, party ready models dancing and skipping around getting the crowd to yell and cheer). In a show full of serious and rather dark themes, I loved the lighthearted and playful nature of Natalie's line. She graduates this spring from MICA's fibers department, and I can't wait to see what she does after school.
You can see photos of the line, along with her line of hooded scarves and her 2D and 3D work
HERE on her website.
