Saw these on Laughing Squid this morning and had to share. Artist Nina Katchadourian goes into airplane lavatories on long flights and takes her own portrait in the style of old Flemish master painters, using toilet paper as costume. I cannot stop laughing at this.
A show of these paintings is about to open Saturday, April 14th at Catharine Clark Gallery, San Francisco.
