Pile Of Craft 2008 Recap

Any reader of this blog knows, I am addicted to craft fairs... but I also love helping to organize them.
This weekend's Pile Of Craft was as wonderful as ever. Full of great vendors, happy shoppers, delicious treats, lots of coffee, good tunes, the works. It's always good to see in person the things you saw in tiny low res photos online. Lisa Kovatch's pottery was breathtaking, Jen Menkhaus' felted floral buttons and hairpins were a colorblast, and although I see a big pile of Cotton Monsters every morning in my living room, my heart beats a bit faster every time I see Jenny's Cotton Monster corral full of new buddies + accessories (We helped print the tote bags). The room was dark (in comparison to outside) but things were so bright and cheery that I didn't even notice.
We made some excellent trades with Biggs & Featherbelle, and The Broken Plate. Chatted with Jen of Indie Fixx Shop fame We got to see the first glimpse of the (semi) secret project we've been up to with Annie of Imogene (I just can't put it on MY blog just yet).
Clementine's Restaurant was wonderful enough to donate 50 lunches to our vendors, and we were so impressed, a few of us went there and had dinner Saturday night! YUM.
