At the risk of straying away from craft and art completely... here are some money shots of Phil and I with some of the farm animals we cared for last week up in Baltimore County. We stayed at a beautiful farmhouse with (count em) 5 chickens, 4 Goats, 3 Cats, 2 Horses, and 1 lovely Donkey named Emma. Even knowing that the city is full of treasures like the previous post... it was wonderful to get away from the noise and clutter for a while, and enjoy some fresh country air. We drank tea in front of a fireplace, took long walks in the field with the horses and donkey, collected eggs, baked cookies, smelled the flowers, climbed haystacks, and threw cracked corn from a tin pail. Wait..... this isn't straying from art...I'm pretty sure it's a perfect setup for a new painting...
